Les Miserables.

Les Mis is quite popular as of late so everyone has already blabbed on about how spectacular it is. Les mis is also pretty straight forward so instead of a full frontal review i just want to quickly type this up to say that i was not as impressed with Anne Hathaway as everyone else was. 

and I'm not saying that she didn't do a spectacular job but i think that Amanda Seyfred, Playing Cosette,   did just as good of a performance as Hathaway and Samantha Barks, who played Eponine, did a better job than any other female in the movie. and i understand that this performance wasn't really expected out of Hathaway and that may be adding to the praise but i believe that they should all be judged on an equal basis. 

Furthermore, many people are tearing down Russell Crow for not having a majestic broadway star voice. WHY DOES HE HAVE TO!!!!! i understand that characters such as Jean Valjean and Marius have to have good voices because they are both strong and proud characters. but the character of Javert is warn down, and always on the edge to the point that he could take his own life at any moment so he shouldn't be singing like he has his life together. and personally i though that he sounded quite good anyways.
