This inspirational book turned movie will make you laugh, cry, and freeze up with utter shock.
This movie is about a high school freshman who is virtually alone in the world. His classmates consider him to be an insane nerd who isn't worth there time of day and his sister, who is a senior, would rather spend every moment with her boyfriend that have one conversation with Charlie. Charlie proves his intelligence in English class when he writes in his notebook every answer to the questions his teacher, Mr. Anderson, (Paul Rudd) asks. Mr. Anderson talks to him after class and ensures Charlie that he is going to be okay. He gives Charlie extra books to read to keep him busy and they create a wonderful friendship.
Later, Charlie meets Patrick (Ezra Miller) and his step sister Sam (Emma Watson) who are both seniors at his school. They become best friends and start to spend all there time together.
Is a friend all that Charlie has eery needed? or well them graduating by the end of this year be is breaking point? only time will tell...
Charlie (Logan Lerman) was completely convincing in the role of a sufferer of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and he was able to take the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions with him.
Emma Watson, who plays Sam, has a beautiful soul and unconditionally cares for Charlie, despite her dark past.
This movie is truly inspirational and it took me onto a roller coaster ride of emotions for all 103 minutes.
